Advancing Sustainable Development! Taichung’s Local Tax Bureau Online Services Now Connected to MyData

(Taichung News) The Taichung City Government’s Local Tax Bureau’s official website now offers online applications integrated with the Ministry of Digital Affairs’ “MyData” platform for personal data utilization. Required documents no longer need to be submitted, and commonly requested services—such as house tax registration certificates—can be automatically delivered to a designated email address within ten minutes. Citizens have praised the MyData online service as highly convenient!
The Local Tax Bureau noted that, in an effort to streamline administration and enhance public convenience, it integrated the Ministry of Digital Affairs’ “MyData” platform into its online services in 2022. Through this system, the required application documents are transmitted directly to the bureau, eliminating the need for applicants to provide them manually and significantly reducing the time otherwise spent gathering documents.
The Local Tax Bureau further explained that, in support of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 16 (SDG16), its website integrates the MyData online application service to provide functions such as applications for various local tax items, case progress inquiries, SMS case filing, closure notifications, and email updates on case handling. These services ensure a transparent application and inquiry process. In addition, to expedite access to tax documents, citizens can obtain frequently requested items—including reissuance of the three major tax payment slips, house tax and land value tax payment certificates, tax statements, and house tax registration certificates—via email within just ten minutes.
For any inquiries, citizens may call the toll-free service line at 0800-000321 or dial 04-22585000 and press 1 to connect to the A++ Station, where dedicated personnel will provide assistance.
