Local Tax Bureau of Taichung City Government-News-Revenue Stamp for Collected Tax Certificate Must be Canceled to Prevent Penalty

(Taichung) TCLTB: Revenue stamps should be attached to collected tax certificate, and canceled it with stamps at across the attached document/item surface and the revenue stamp as well as on both stamps connected to each other. Namely to cancel on each and every stamp, and its connecting part to the original document/item’s surface to meet requirement.

It is a common mistake for taxpayer to miss this step, says TCLTB, and that is 5 to 10 times fine punishment to such case. The Bureau reminds taxpayers of other tax paying methods such as applying for Large Sum Stamp Statement issued by the Bureau to replace revenue stamps.
